I have had surgery before and I know I have deep veins but they stuck me four times until they got somewhat of an IV started. So I go in to the operating room and they give be the injection to put me out. They inject at least have of the meds into the IV. I'm a little tired. But it doesnt put me out. Then I hear the one nurse say and I quote "She should have been out by on." I'm like yeah I should have. So they figure out that the IV isnt working so they stick another IV in my other arm. They get that one in a little like the first one. They give me the whole injection of meds and Im out for maybe ten minutes.
Let me tell you what goes on when you get a scope done. They know you out, then shove a prob with a camera down your throat. Oh before shoving that down your throat they spray numbing stuff so you dont gag. Well really your throat should be sore but thats is right? Not for me. I wake up and start vomiting the further the doctor pushs this thing down my throat. I'm lying on my left side and I vomit like five times. Then he brings the thing out of my throat and mouth. So the nurses can clean the vomit from my mouth. Then again he tries to push it down my throat again. After that he gets what he wants. The nurse clean me up take out the IV and send me to recovery.
After recovery I go back to my room that I was assigned. My aunts there waiting for me. I drink the coke they give me. Im allowed to get dressed. Then wait almost an hour for the doctor come down to talk to me. He says everything is fine.
But the best part is when I go back to school today I learn everybody in my econ class blames me for not being there. My friends defend me saying I was having surgery. But they dont care. So I end up with a bad sore throat and my arms killing every time I move them.
